Being put on display, to be looked at, gaze at, to be what others want it to be. Objectified, touched, groped, assaulted, sexualized. 

Staring at something and longing to touch the object, but are not allowed to do so. Forcing the gaze and flipping the table by directing the gaze back at you in the reflection of the glass.

The material imitates a solide piece of crystal, glass or hard plastic, but in fact is fragile, thin, flexible and will decay over time.
